In the world of internet, Dragons and art I am known as Dragarta. She originated from need of presenting myself on the net differently than only with my real, "uninteresting" name. This nickname was created by combining two hobbies of mine - Dragons (DRAGon) and drawing (ARTist). This was created by my dad and he deserves many thanks for it, because it represent my personality really well.
My real name is Lucie Culková and I was born 8.4.1988 in Frenštát, small town in the Czech Republic, in the heart of central Europe. Most of my time during studying high school I spent in Ostrava and now I live in Prague with my boyfriend.
I´ve started with drawing when I was really young and several artistic classes, which I visited
during primary school, help me with improving my skills. Art was always my main priority, so that applying for art high school was the right choice. Next four years I was practising drawing here in section of promotional graphic art. In 2007 I graduated succesfuly and now I work as a graphic and web designer in Prague. But I didn´t give up my studies yet and since September 2009 I am a student of art education on Charles University
As you surely noticed, there are many things about Dragons. They are the main topic of all my pictures and also my personal guide through life. I took a fancy to drawing them when I was about 12 and I still love them. Dragons are creatures which fascinate me and basically, I became one of them in time. Dragoness Dragarta is my second ego, my representative in the world of fantasy. She has her concrete Dragon form, which come from my favourite things and my attributes.
